It is highly recommended that for these forms of protection (excluding the spray wax) are done to vehicles that have had a full decontamination, i.e. clay bar, iron fallout and tar removal, followed by an IPA wipe down. Having this process done prior to protections being applied, ensures that you get 100% durability and the gloss levels are as good as they can be.

For the best possible results, a vehicle should go through some paint correction (if required). The deep gloss service is a simple single stage machine polish, removing 50% of paintwork defects and bringing back gloss levels. 

​

When paint protection is applied on top of polishing services, they protect defect free and glossy paintwork.

Paint protection is highly recommended to protect vehicle paintwork from the elements, not only can coatings provide your vehicle with lasting protection, but they can provide deep gloss levels, making your vehicle stand out and look new.

Spray wax  £5 

​

An extremely quick and simply service, a spray wax or applied to a clean vehicle, it's sprayed, buffed with a microfiber cloth, then using another microfiber, the residue is removed. A good spray wax adds a quick level of gloss and slickness to the paintwork, providing up to 3 months of protection.

Carnauba wax  £20+   (1-2 hours)

Carnauba waxes offer a great protection on vehicles, providing up to 6 months of protection . Carnauba waxes offer deep gloss levels and hydrophobic properties, allowing water to bead and sheet off the paintwork nicely. I have several waxes I can apply, all offering different properties, e.g. some providing high gloss levels and some providing higher hydrophobic properties.

Paint sealant   £25+   (1-2 hours)

Paint sealants are a synthetic car wax, they perform similarly to carnauba waxes, but have longer life spans, lasting upwards of 6 months. Paint sealants may provide less warmth to the paint than waxes but do offer a more durable protective layer. Sealant is recommended more for cars which simply need a great value for money protective layer. Sealants also shed water far better than a wax, this means your car stays cleaner, for longer. For longer durability and protection, paint sealant is best, for a good level of protection, but with a warm glow and more gloss, carnauba wax is preferred.

Ceramic Coating    £160+   (1.5-2 days)

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that is applied to the paint work, by hand. Ceramic coating chemically bonds to the vehicles paint work, creating a hard layer of protection. Ceramic coating requires a full decontamination of the paint work to be done, if this decontamination isn't done then the chemical bonding could fail and durability of the coating would be compromised.

As my services are mobile, I would be working outside, the ceramic coating I use is CarPro - CQuartz UK 3.0. 

This ceramic coating is applied in 2 layers. The ceramic liquid is applied to an applicator and worked into the panels, doing small sections at a time. The curing time is extremely quick, It is then wiped away, ensuring any residue is removed. Once one coat is done, there must be a cure time of 2 hours, before applying the second coat.

This 2 layer ceramic coating provides an entire year of protection to the vehicle. 4 hours of cure time is then given to this second coat. A liquid layer of CarPro Gliss is then applied in the same fashion. Gliss is a product that has extremely effective hydrophobic properties. This means water sheets off the paint work instantly. Gliss gives the coating a further year of protection, meaning this ceramic coating application in total gives your vehicle 2 years of protection. As the coating is extremely hydrophobic it has self cleaning capabilities, when it rains, the rain picks up the dirt and washes it off the paint work. 

This Gliss coating gives very high levels of gloss and gives the paintwork a glass like feel.

Glass Repellent GTECHNIQ G5  £15+  (1 hour)

GTECHNIQ G5 is a glass coating that offers extreme water repellency. At speeds as low as 30mph, the water will bead and run off your vehicle, giving you clearer vision as you drive. G5 lasts for up to 5 months, offering good durability and repellent. Your windscreen will stay cleaner longer, bugs and any other contaminants will be easier to remove with this coating applied.

Before this coating is applied the glass is given a polish, for maximum durability and cleanliness.
